Emerald Flame Moss

This gray moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainy mountain ranges, On rotten logs, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
All parts of the grass are edible.
