Emerald Clump Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In bogs, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly delicate; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
