Bluebell Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, blue flower.
During the early winter, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
