This copper moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely delicate; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

It comes in 8 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
