Blue Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This small, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in small clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, sky blue puff.

During the early winter, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
The seeds are toxic to people but not to certain animals.
The sap causes itchiness of the skin
