Emerald Capsule Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainforests, In damp forests, and In bogs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly sturdy.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
