Carmindigo Shrubby
Shrub type: Coniferous (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 17 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has several slender, curved stems covered in waxy, brown bark, and the wood inside is yellow.
The branches are very short, thin and wispy that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, thick, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are caramel with indigo tips, rigid and sticky.
It produces clusters of large, magenta flowers with 7 shield-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like vomit. In early winter it forms medium-sizedyellow, tough-shelled seeds.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
