Emerald Clump Moss

This white moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
