This copper and lime green moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is massive, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making strong rope
