Copper Dracaena

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The very thin stem is copper, and is dotted with small drab orange spines. The straight, lime trunk can grow to as much as 5 feet (1.5 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its pink-red branches trail down to the ground and start growing a quarter of the way up the stem.

The handfuls of wavy-edged, wispy leaves are green with dark red tips. They are delicate, but take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with beige petals on the lower layer and dark red petals decorated with light grey dots on the inner layer. The central disk is pink grows at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is made up of 56 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has a powerful scent that smells like cherry.

The caudiciform's skin is delicate, the blue flesh is rough, and the dark yellow sap is thin.
