Emerald Clump Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainforests, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly rigid; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
