Climbing Azurevine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This huge vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,188 feet (666.9 meters) and growing as high as 695 feet (211.8 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.
It takes 43 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) and are smooth and rubbery.
The asymmetrical, rough leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are olive on the edges and cyan at the center, and have wavy edges.
During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of large azure flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of large seed pods.
It is often referred to as the most beautiful of all flowers.
Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
