Embermoss
Moss type: MossThis orange moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On rotten logs, On trees, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
The leaves are bland but very healthy.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
