Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 11 feet (3.4 meters) and growing as high as 55 feet (16.8 meters).
It takes 5 months for the cream and yellow stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are hard and brittle.
The slender, pointed, leathery leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are either lime or copper, with azure lines, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the vine produces thousands of small amber flowers.

It commonly grows in large patches.
