Emerald Creeper

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On rotten logs, In heathlands, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly flexible.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
