Goldenstalk Grass

This big, gray-green grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, gold flower.

During the mid-autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
