Emerald Clump Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In heathlands, and In damp forests.
It is large, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely robust.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
