Amber Spineleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This giant leaf succulent grows up to 144 feet (43.9 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is brown, and is dotted with small grey spines. The smooth-edged, thick leaves are found in amber and brown varieties. Thick bunches of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 3, then 6, then 9, and so on. The leaves are light, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are either hazel or vivid orange, with a yellow center grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like wet dog.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the blue flesh is rough, and the blood red sap is thin.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
