Copper Emerald Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 29 feet (8.8 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 5 very narrow, elongated stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in handfuls of fine, bronze, hair-like spines. The tear-shaped body is emerald, and is covered in handfuls of rigid subtle red spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with pink petals that gradient shift to copper on the outer edge. The central disk is lime grows at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 16 curved petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like cotton.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the aquamarine flesh is rough, and the lime sap is thin.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
