Crimson Spore Moss

This red moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely frail.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
