Aquaflora

This big fruit tree grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall and lives for up to 40 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 82 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, angular trunk covered in thin, silky, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the very hard wood is burgundy-brown.

The sparse amount of branches are short stubs and are covered with large amounts of huge, very narrow and elongated leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either cyan, or indigo with turquoise lines.

In early spring, it produces bunches of tiny, grey blossoms with needle-like petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a weak scent that smells like candle wax.

In mid-summer it produces , stiff, pointed fruit. The leathery purple skin is thin and inedible, and the crunchy indigo flesh is bitter and syrupy. The grey seed is small and is in the centre of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
