Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 22 feet (6.7 meters) and growing as high as 57 feet (17.4 meters).

It takes 6 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The spear shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are blood red on the sides and blue at the center, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of tiny crimson flowers.

It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
