Copper Clump Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
