Aquaflora

This short fruit tree grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 44 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, angular trunk covered in delicate, rough, light gray bark, and inside, the light wood is yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are very short and thin and are covered with very large amounts of small, pleated leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue and crimson.

In early spring, it produces many balls of small, magenta blossoms with finger-like petals. They are very delicate and have a powerful scent that smells like a damp log.

In mid-autumn it produces small, oval fruit. The crispy crimson skin is delicate and sweet and sour, and the slightly crunchy sky blue flesh is bitter and powdery. The silver seed is tiny and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
