Heathland Olive Moss

This olive and gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly flexible; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
