Copper Heath Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely light; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
