Aquamarine Spine Palm

This big caudiciform grows up to 105 feet (32.0 meters) tall. The wide stem is burgundy, and is covered in thick sheets of rigid aquamarine spines. The wide, hazel trunk can grow to as much as 105 feet (32.0 meters) in diameter. Its emerald branches trail down to the ground.

The wavy-edged, very thick leaves are hazel and caramel. They are flimsy, but take little effort to detach.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are green on the edges and olive at the center, grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is largely flat with 33 raised narrow petals. It has no scent.

The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the orange flesh is rough, and the brown sap is thin.
