Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On trees.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
