Coilvine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 46 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has many branched, straight stems covered in hard, rough, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of small, circular, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are cream at the bottom and grey with gold dots at the top, durable and fuzzy.

It produces hundreds of giant, dull green flowers with 9 V-shaped shaped petals. They detach easily and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cheese. In late autumn it forms tinydark brown seed pods.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
