Copperheart Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In moorlands, In damp forests, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly strong.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
