Ember Moss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is very light.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
