Crescent Bogmoss

This gray-green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On rotten logs, and In bogs.
It is giant, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly resilient.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.

The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
All parts of the creeper are edible.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
