Emerald Clump Moss

This brown moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, On trees, and In moorlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is slightly rigid.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.
