Vinepine

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous tree grows up to 138 meters (452.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 468 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a sturdy, straight trunk covered in rough, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the dense wood is yellow-brown.

The tangled mess of branches trail down to the ground, covered with handfuls of small, pink-red needles. The needles themselves are tough.

In late summer it produces small, ashy orange, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It is suitable for making paper
