Emerald Crescent Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainforests, and In moorlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
