Emerald Clump Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests, In bogs, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly durable.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
