Slate Tail Grass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This large, orange grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The kidney-shaped stalks grow in extensive patches that are light and frail and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, slate tail.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
