Burgundy Turquoise Shrubbyucca

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This enormous shrub grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 141 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many wide, slanted stems covered in delicate, wrinkled, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is burgundy.

The branches are very short and thin with dozens of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of miniature, very narrow and elongated, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are turquoise on the edges and brown at the center, resistant and sticky.

It produces many small, grey flowers with 7 oval-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like rotten eggs. In early winter it forms medium-sizedolive seed pods.

It is often home to a particular bird species.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
