Coilvine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This enormous shrub grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for around 44 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous narrow, angular stems covered in hard, rough, yellow bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches are short, rigid and upright that and are covered with small bunches of small, long, narrow, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are copper on the edges and pink at the center, robust and waxy.

In late summer it produces hundreds of medium-sized, florescent green flowers with 2 pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a fairly strong scent that smells like candle wax.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
