Emerald Crescent Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In marshes, and In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly strong.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
