Bloodfire Cactus

This big cactus grows up to 73 feet (22.3 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 4 asymmetrical stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible blood red spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 37 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are brown at the sides and dull red at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 42 curved petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like new carpet.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the bronze flesh is rubbery, and the dark orange sap is thin.
