Clinging Magenta Vine
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized flower grows up to 2.0 feet (61 cm) tall. Its burgundy stems grow in bunches of 5 and are very thin with a curved tip, and the miniature, gray-green leaves are brown on the underside and are very thick with rounded edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Hundreds of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are silver on the underside and magenta on the top. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.
It has a delicate scent that smells like mango, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
