Crimson Heart Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In marshes, and In damp forests.
It is large, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very hardy.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
