Copper creeper

This big creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 395 feet (120.4 meters) and growing as high as 32 feet (9.8 meters).

It takes 4 years for the lime stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The needle-like, leathery leaves reach up to 3.0 feet (91 cm) in length. They are either dark brown, or copper with slate patches, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of small green flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces a few very large fruits.
