Burgundy Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 41 feet (12.5 meters) and growing as high as 40 feet (12.2 meters).

It takes 22 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The broad, flat, rough leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are amber at the bottom and cream with dark brown patches at the top, and have irregular edges.

It commonly grows in large patches.
Ivy often grows along the trunk.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
