Pink Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, pink puff.

During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It comes in 17 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
