Blue Petal Bush

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 14 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of wide, straight stems covered in ridged, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are short and thin that and are covered with sparse amounts of giant, very thin, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are lime and pink, sturdy and fuzzy.

In mid-spring it produces thousands of large, gentle blue flowers with many layers of petals. They are very delicate and have a fairly strong scent that smells like chocolate.
