Silverbell
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 11 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has numerous narrow, angular stems covered in delicate, silky, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is black.
The branches are short, rigid and upright that and are covered with large amounts of small, slender, pointed, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are solid aquamarine with gold streaks, durable and fuzzy.
In late summer it produces thick bunches of medium-sized, crimson flowers with long, tapering petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a faint scent that smells like cheese.
It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
