Aquamarine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 10 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of slender, straight stems covered in silky, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches trail down across the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of small, wispy, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are solid aquamarine with gold streaks, durable and covered in fine hairs.

It produces a handful of medium-sized, indigo flowers with long, tapering petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have an overpowering scent that smells like something putrid. In mid-autumn it forms giantbold orange, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

It is very delicate and is easy to kill.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
