Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 155 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

In mid-summer it produces a thick sheet of large, azure flowers with 9 oval-shaped shaped petals. They detach easily and have a delicate scent that smells like rotting meat.
